Product Details
Superb commercially spun yarns. Made from 60% shimmering luxurious Australian surialpaca, 30% Australian super soft heritage breed finnsheep fiber, and 10% mulberry silk.
Suri is an extremely shiny slippery alpaca fibre which has outstanding drape (ideal for fabric and suiting) but with little natural fibre elasticity/memory. We have added finn wool to the mix to create an outstanding shimmering lustre filled yarn which has the elasticity and memory typically expected from a knitting yarn.
Australian fiber sent to New Zealand for spinning and dyeing and returned back to us here in Oz.
Currently available 4ply in 50gram balls.
